The grounds are beautiful, very conducive to relaxation. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The island of Coronado is lovely and many shops and restaraunts are in walking distance of the resort. The resort is also a relatively short drive from tourist attractions such as Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo.

Location, cleanliness, comfort, friendly staff, well equipped room.
Views face to much toward shipyards. Staff initially stated no other rooms available then proceeded to offer 4 other rooms. ( a seemingly common practice among hoteliers).

Good looking place, dedicated staff with their friendly service. Comfy room with balconies, breathtaking views. Delicious breakfast to start the day, outstanding food. Beautiful and lovely location, not too far from Centennial Park.

The amazing bay view from my room was like a postcard, with the Coronado Bridge lighting up the skyline. The unique indoor lazy river was relaxing.

Location to the city and the size of the facility. There was plenty of privacy and some good views of the bay.
Rooms were not that nice and the hotel looked much nicer online than in person. Other hotels we visited in downtown san diego were much nicer than this merriot. Not worth the price
